The Mbatu Cultural & Development Association (MBACUDA) is set to host its much-anticipated USA & Canada Convention 2025, bringing together Mbatu elites and supporters from across North America for a weekend of cultural celebration, networking, and fundraising. This grand event will take place from June 27th – 29th, 2025, at Viking Center, Burtonsville, Maryland under the inspiring theme: “Strength in Unity – Advancing Our Community Together.”
The convention promises an engaging itinerary, starting with a Welcome & Meet & Greet on June 27th, providing attendees the chance to reconnect and build new relationships. On June 28th, the Annual General Meeting (AGM) and a Fundraising Gala will be held, with a focus on mobilizing resources for key development projects back home in Mbatu, Cameroon. The event will conclude on June 29th with a BBQ and farewell session.
A major highlight of the convention is the fundraising initiative, aimed at supporting ongoing and future MBACUDA projects, including the construction of a hospital in Njimafor, an essential step towards improving healthcare access for the Mbatu community. The convention serves as a call to action for all Mbatu sons and daughters, well-wishers, and supporters to come together and contribute towards this noble cause.
